 Church Planting Minimize

OC teams typically freely share research showing the locations and sub-cultures in which the church is having positive influence and where additional churches are needed. Resourcing and encouragement of needed church planting movements may then take the form of publications, national or regional inter-denominational conferences, training or mentoring of current or potential church planters, pastors or denominational leaders. The goal is typically to mobilize the whole church to disciple the whole nation through establishing culturally relevant expressions of disciple-making communities.

Conferences and Networking Opportunities:

  • Mission21 in Bath, England, Nov 17-19, 2009: This is likely to be, we believe, the largest Church Planters practitioners conference in Europe this year. Details: www.mission21.info/home/. Please pass on one of these invitations: postcard or flyer.
  • Church Planting Round Table - St. Chrischona, Switzerland, usually the first week of December. The roundtable generally draws European regional leaders involved in church planting in more than one country. Info:  info@kontaktmission.de
  • OC serves as a part of a partnership seeking to accelerate church planting globally. The ‘Global Church Planting Network’ (GCPN) meets in India late February, 2010.
